The Knoxville Chamber is pleased to announce WorkSpace Interiors (WSI) as the recipient of the Pinnacle Business Award in the Mid-Sized Business Excellence category. WorkSpace Interiors provides businesses, schools, and health care companies with commercial furnishing solutions. The Mid-Sized Business Excellence Award, sponsored by EOS Worldwide, is given to an East Tennessee company that has scaled their business, shown consistency, and is recognized in their respective business sector.

“We’ve been fortunate to grow consistently over the last twenty-five years,” said Bob Feathers, WorkSpace Interiors President and CEO. “We started with five employees and now employ over fifty, and investing in their growth is essential around our success.”

WSI has evolved into a full-service and fully integrated commercial furnishings company serving customers small and large from Bristol to Cookeville to Chattanooga, Southwest Virginia, and parts of Northern Georgia. WSI simplifies customer projects by being a single point of contact from planning to implementation and post-occupancy. Its programs and services address needs throughout the entire life cycle of a customer’s well-designed and well-managed space and respond as client business needs grow and change.

“The companies that we are seeing succeed in today’s marketplace are putting a focus on talent and innovation,” said Mike Odom, Knoxville Chamber president and CEO. “The attention that WorkSpace Interiors is giving to those areas is clearly paying off.”

The annual Pinnacle Business Awards, presented by Pinnacle Financial Partners, celebrate regional business excellence, honoring outstanding professionals in nine categories for their contributions to the greater Knoxville economy. Winners are selected by the Knoxville Chamber Board of Directors. Nearly 200 companies were nominated for 2024 recognition.

“Congratulations to all Pinnacle Business Award winners. Local businesses are essential to the communities they help grow,” said Mike DiStefano, Pinnacle’s Knoxville president. “Pinnacle Financial Partners is a founder led firm that was built as a small business bank, so we know how difficult it can be to run a successful business. More than two decades of growth have allowed us to serve clients of increasing size, but small businesses remain essential both to Pinnacle and the Knoxville communities they help grow. It’s an honor to be part of this program and help recognize the home-grown players in Knoxville’s economy.”
