The annual Pinnacle Awards, presented by UScellular Business, celebrate regional business excellence, honoring outstanding professionals in nine categories for their contributions to the greater Knoxville economy. Winners are selected by the Knoxville Chamber Board of Directors. Applicants are nominated by the regional business community.

Small Business Excellence Award

The Knoxville Chamber is pleased to announce TN Fireplace & Chimney as the recipient of the 2022 Pinnacle Business Award in the Small Business Excellence category. TN Fireplace and Chimney is a full-service chimney contractor specializing in noninvasive fireplace change outs and remodeling. The Small Business Excellence Award, sponsored by Allcor Staffing, is presented to an East Tennessee small business, employing 50 or less, that has consistently grown its workforce and revenue. Mid-Sized Business Excellence Award

The Knoxville Chamber is pleased to announce Lirio as the recipient of the Pinnacle Business Award in the Mid-Sized Business Excellence category. Lirio is a behavior-changing artificial intelligence platform that communicates with patients in a new way. The Mid-Sized Business Excellence Award, sponsored by WorkSpace Interiors, is given to an East Tennessee company that has scaled their business, shown consistency, and is recognized in their respective business sector. Large Business Excellence Award

The Knoxville Chamber is pleased to announce Red Stag Fulfillment as the recipient of the Pinnacle Business Award in the Large Business Excellence category. Red Stag Fulfillment offers eCommerce order fulfillment services, including specialized services such as kitting and light assembly, warehousing, inventory planning, and on-demand order fulfillment and shipping. The Large Business Excellence award, sponsored by 21st Mortgage Corporation, is presented to a non-franchisee company with over 200 employees that has shown remarkable profitability, growth, and stability. Woman-Owned Business Excellence Award

The Knoxville Chamber is pleased to announce ICC International as the recipient of the Pinnacle Business Award in the Woman-Owned Business Excellence category. ICC International, located in Maryville, manufactures commutators and slip rings for industrial applications around the world which include mining, metals, paper, propulsion, and power generation. The Woman-Owned Business Excellence Award, sponsored by LBMC, is presented to an outstanding East Tennessee woman-owned business. The Knoxville Chamber is pleased to announce Grow – A Shane Archer Concept as the recipient of the Pinnacle Business Award in the Impact category. Grow – A Shane Archer Concept, is a full-service hair salon that also carries dermatology-grade makeup and skin care products. The Impact Award, sponsored by Pinnacle Financial Partners, is presented to a non-charitable business that displays a commitment to making East Tennessee a better place to live through the development and support of a community project or program. Innovator Award

The Knoxville Chamber is pleased to announce Carbon Rivers as the recipient of the Pinnacle Business Award in the Innovator category. Carbon Rivers reclaims glass fiber from a variety of production and waste streams to provide upcycled clean, high-quality glass fiber. The Innovator Award, sponsored by PureMagic Car Wash, is given to an East Tennessee business that has developed a new technology, innovative product or service, or applied a business system or service in an innovative way. Young Entrepreneur Award

The Knoxville Chamber is pleased to announce Katy Richardson as the recipient of the Pinnacle Business Award in the Young Entrepreneur category. Richardson is the founder and CEO of Barre Skinny, LLC, the franchising company of Neighborhood Barre Fitness Studios. Barre is a unique workout style that incorporates elements from Pilates, dance conditioning, and weight training. The Young Entrepreneur award, sponsored by Rodefer Moss & Co., is presented to a young professional who lives and works in East Tennessee and has achieved success while overcoming obstacles, to become one of tomorrow’s top business leaders. James A. Haslam, II Leadership Award

The Knoxville Chamber is pleased to announce Hallerin Hilton Hill as the recipient of the Pinnacle Business Award in the James A. Haslam, II Leadership Award category. Hill is widely- known as a radio personality featured on Cumulus’ News Talk 98.7. His television series, Anything is Possible, is currently on its twentieth season. The Haslam Leadership Award, sponsored by The Trust Company of Tennessee, is given to a long-standing business leader that exhibits strength in character, resolve, a commitment to the community, and exemplary success in the regional business community.
