The chamber collaborates with the private and public sector partners to identify barriers to growth and develop business-friendly solutions in areas such as land use, building capacity, access to broadband and public transit.
Supporting the Future
The Knoxville Chamber has released Infrastructure Redefined, a Path to Prosperity strategy designed to support future growth. The white paper aims to highlight a spectrum of short- and long-term infrastructure recommendations that the community can consider as it strives to ensure economic prosperity for all.
eKnox is a task force working towards 100 percent broadband connectivity for all households in the Knoxville MSA. In its first year, the community group is focused on providing emergency broadband access to all Knox County students in the event virtual learning is required.
Knoxville Area Transit
Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) is the City of Knoxville’s public transportation system, connecting the community through bus, trolley and paratransit services.
Knoxville Regional TPO
Knoxville Regional TPO advises and assists in improving and expanding transportation choices for the region by involving citizens and decision-makers in the planning.
