East TN Homestead Festival

The East TN Homestead Alliance will kick off the second year of its popular East Tennessee Homestead Festival when gates open at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, September 12, at Hardin Valley Event Center located at 2620 Willow Point Way in Knoxville. The two-day event will offer a wide variety of expert panelists, guest speakers, demonstrations, hands-on workshops and kids’ activities that will inspire visitors to learn more about the how-tos of homesteading. Across four staged areas, on-site experts will showcase their knowledge on a plentiful mix of topics, including sustainability, soil management, natural beekeeping, food preservation and much more.
