Why We March

We’ll need more than words to fight racism, intolerance and inequality. Decisive action and an unwavering commitment to equality and justice for all is necessary to drive change. At Accenture, we’re taking steps for our people in the communities where we live and work to help create more opportunities and build a more inclusive and diverse future for all. We are acting, we are leading, and we will drive change.

One of these efforts is our partnership with the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. We are helping amplify the museum’s exhibits and experiences for a global audience, with a heavy emphasis on digital, to increase awareness and understanding of African American life and contributions. As a first project, together we produced Why We March in celebration of the 57th anniversary of the historic March on Washington. This video uses photography and audio from the museum’s collection to bring to life the answer to “Why We March.”

Learn more about this historic March and explore the rich history of the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
