Two Month Fire Alarm Replacement in Occupied 13-floor Building Done in 3 Days!

The Gallaher Life Safety & Security team completed a total Notifier® fire alarm installation and deployment in just 3 days with the majority of work being done in just ONE day in the month of July this year! This would have normally been a 2-3 month project and included all the prep work, testing and final programming along with passing the Fire Marshall test at the end.

This meant full deployment of Knoxville branch resources, including most of our technicians, support and operational personnel, as well as executive management. All pre-wiring, rough-in, and trim-out tasks were performed with multiple technicians on each floor, with panel teams completing remaining terminations, programming, and testing. This is probably an achievement rarely if ever accomplished.

Executive management and support team served lunch for customer, contractors and project participants, setting up grills and snacks on the ground floor. Project Management and Technician teams coordinated with building management, other contractors, and support personnel to complete this project on-time with minimal disruption for residents and very little time spent on fire watch duties.
