Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) is partnering with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to double the amount of funding available to local nonprofit organizations through TVA’s Community Care Fund.
TVA’s Community Care Fund has $132,000 available for Knoxville-area organizations, and KUB will match that amount for a total of $264,000 available.
“The Community Care Fund supported 20 different local nonprofit organizations in 2023, and it’s been great to see how that support has helped our community,” KUB President & CEO Gabriel Bolas II said. “We’re thrilled to be able to invest in local nonprofits again. We are proud to partner with TVA and appreciate their commitment to serving our customers in this way. This is a great opportunity for us to contribute to making our region a better place to live by contributing to each organization’s efforts.”
