Knoxville, TN – Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) is partnering with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to double the amount of funding available to local nonprofit organizations through TVA’s Community Care Fund.

TVA’s Community Care Fund has $110,000 available for Knoxville-area organizations, and KUB will match that amount for a total of $220,000 available.

“Seeing the great work the Community Care Fund supported in 2022 has been rewarding, and we’re thrilled to be able to invest in local nonprofits again,” KUB President & CEO Gabriel Bolas said. “We appreciate TVA’s commitment to serving our customers in this way, and are proud to partner with them to increase the impact.”
