The firm helps individuals, families, business owners and nonprofits make better financial decisions through wealth management, personal investment strategy, corporate retirement plans, estate planning, personal trust and nonprofit investing services.

“To add exceptional talent from outside our firm while developing team members for expanded positions within it are both exciting ways to see our team and company grow,” said Daniel Carter, president of The Trust Company of Tennessee. “I send a warm welcome to Vanessa and Will and a hearty congratulations to Dalia and Justin.”

Matthias joined The Trust Company of Tennessee in 2022 as vice president and senior trust officer. Chavez joined the firm in 2024 and has quickly progressed from customer service team lead, drawing on his experience in coaching and engaging teams, to move into a manager position within the customer service team.

Berkley will help clients improve their financial well-being by finding strategic ways to build and enjoy wealth while building a family legacy.
