Southwest Airlines is Coming to McGhee Tyson Airport

McGhee Tyson Airport is proud to announce the arrival of a long-requested airline that will begin offering service to four major U.S. cities: Nashville, TN; Dallas, TX; Baltimore/Washington; and Orlando, FL. This new airline addition not only answers the call from East Tennesseeans who have sought this airline for decades, but also significantly expands travel options, economic opportunity, and tourism for the entire region.

These flights will make travel more convenient, boost tourism, and drive meaningful economic development throughout East Tennessee.”
