Knoxville, Tenn. – John Williams, senior vice president at Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB), has been selected to be a member of a senior executive peer advisory board in Knoxville by Vistage Worldwide, Inc. He joins over 300 senior executives, business owners, and CEOs across the state of Tennessee who are Vistage members. Williams started working at KUB after graduating from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in business and has almost 24 years of diverse experience in multiple functions and disciplines. He currently leads the engineering and construction divisions.

Board Chair Kurt Greene said, “When I was involved with Vistage earlier in my career, I learned first-hand the value of having access to trusted peers for exploring new ideas and gaining useful insights. As a Vistage Chair, it’s a real honor and privilege to work closely with John and this amazing group of successful business leaders, especially during these challenging times.” Greene is Chair of the four Vistage advisory boards in the greater Knoxville area.

Vistage members meet monthly with peers from local non-competing businesses to help one another improve their companies and themselves. Membership is by invitation only and requires a nomination and a selection process.
