Realty Executives Associates based in East Tennessee has been announced as one of the largest real estate firms in the United States. The company has secured the #47 spot out of over 300,000 real estate firms nationwide, marking an unprecedented achievement for the East Tennessee region. No other firm in East Tennessee has ever reached this ranking.

As one of the largest companies in the area, the firm boasts over 1,000 agents, 17 offices, and 3.4+ billion in 2023 sales volume.

“We are incredibly proud to be recognized as one of the largest real estate firms in the country,” said Justin Bailey, CEO of Realty Executives Associates. “This ranking is a testament to the hard work and dedication of agents. Their commitment to providing exceptional service to clients has been instrumental in achieving this national recognition.”

The #47 ranking is by national real estate media company RISMedia, and is based on transaction sides in 2023. Almost all other firms on the top 50 list are based in larger metropolitan areas compared to Knoxville.

REA was founded in 1977 by Vance Burkey. 2024 marks Realty Executives Associates’s 46th anniversary, and also marks the 43rd consecutive year of REA being the #1 real estate company locally by volume, transactions sides, and agent population.

REA is recognized as a Top Workplace by Knox.News, in addition to many other accolades. Throughout their growth, Realty Executives core values remain in cultivating community, celebrating achievements, helping agents find purpose in their business, and supporting their agents’ well-being.
