PYA Earns Sixth “Top Workplace” Designation; Brown Named Top Leader 

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – For the sixth time, PYA, a national certified public accounting, healthcare consulting, and professional services firm headquartered in Knoxville, has earned the designation of “Top Workplace” by Knox News. PYA is the only accounting and professional services firm in the midsize category. The firm has been named a Top Workplaces honoree every year the company has participated in the program. Additionally, PYA President and CEO Marty Brown received a 2024 Top Workplaces Leadership Award. 

The Top Workplaces designations recognize companies in East Tennessee that create outstanding workplace cultures for employees. The award is based solely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous, voluntary third-party survey that measures several aspects of the workplace culture including alignment, execution, and connection. In 2024, more than 27,000 employees were surveyed across 130 companies. 

The Leadership Award is based on employee survey results compared across all results in each category. The award reflects a consensus of employees who relayed they trust the leader and believe he is leading the company in a positive direction.
