The River Breeze Drive-In, established in 1950, comes back to life in 2021 as the River Breeze Event Center. Knoxville’s newest venue is 7.5 acres with 800 feet of waterfront on the Holston River.

The groundbreaking event occurs June 1, 2021 at 11 am at 6110 Asheville Highway. Representatives from the Knox County Mayor’s Office, Visit Knoxville, Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, Knoxville Utilities Board, Outdoor Knoxville Adventure Center and Knox County Commissioners plan to attend.

Artist renderings and plans for the new outdoor convention center will be revealed. The event space located in East Knox County plans on hosting weddings, local and regional fundraisers for area nonprofits, music festivals, as well as fish, golf and RV shows.

River Breeze Event Center is excited to bring a new development to East Knoxville and Knox County. “This means big things for Knox County,” said Aaron Snukals, GM of River Breeze Event Center.
