Melissa Wilson, FNP, joins Summit Medical Group

Melissa “Missy” Wilson, FNP, recently joined Summit Medical Group as a family nurse practitioner at Emory Family Practice.

Wilson specializes in family medicine and is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.  

Before joining Summit Medical Group, Wilson was a family nurse practitioner with Perry & West Family Practice in Whitley City, Kentucky. She earned her Bachelor of Nursing in 2007 from California University of Pennsylvania and her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017 from Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia.  

Wilson, her husband and 11-year-old son live in Robbins, Tennessee. They also have two adult children.  

Emory Family Practice is located at 201 East Emory Road in Knoxville and is open Monday-Thursday from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.; Friday from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; and Saturday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call 865-938-3627.
