LDA Announces New Director of Financial Strategy and Stewardship

CJay Roberts to join civil engineering firm.

LDA Engineering today announced the addition of CJay Roberts as its director of financial strategy and stewardship. Roberts is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with experience across the spectrum of financial operations. He will be based out of the firm’s Alcoa office. 

“CJay will be a hands-on partner to all of us by giving us financial insights that only an expert could give,” said Jason Brooks, PE, Chief Executive Officer of LDA. “Most importantly, he embodies a stewardship mindset while keeping the future and possible growth opportunities for our firm in mind.”

In addition to leading LDA financial strategy, CJay will manage the firm’s information technology services. As LDA continues to adapt to the ever-changing digital landscape, Roberts’ leadership will ensure these digital changes best suit clients’ needs.

Roberts previously served as CFO of Stokely Hospitality and LeConte Lodge, where he managed financial operations across a multi-entity portfolio. He supported business units with revenues from $7 million to $340 million at ERM Shelton Group and Eagle Distributing.
