Knoxville Chamber Launches New Website

The Knoxville Chamber announced a continued commitment to driving regional economic prosperity last week with the unveiling of a redesigned website. Officially deployed on Tuesday, Aug. 18, the site (www.knoxvillechamber.com) builds on the organization’s five-year strategic vision, Path to Prosperity,  featuring a modern design, simple navigation and an abundance of local resources.

“The redesign of our website allows the regional business community to tap into the wealth that Knoxville offers,” stated Lynsey Wilson, Vice President of Investor Experience at the Knoxville Chamber. According to Director of Digital Marketing, Callie Blackburn, “The update offers a streamlined experience for both desktop and mobile users. The refreshed design now features dynamic content; vibrant imagery and graphics and a simplified menu interface.” Digital Marketing Coordinator, Steph Blue further notes, “The new website offers ease of navigation, allowing our investors to tap into available resources and quickly locate the information that they need to help their businesses succeed.”

After a lengthy proposal review process, the Chamber ultimately selected Designsensory, a Knoxville-based digital agency, to design the new website. Approximately six months were spent on the redesign project – a process that involved migrating years of legacy content and hundreds of webpages onto the new platform. 

“The team at Designsensory was instrumental in helping us create a site that communicates the chamber’s renewed focus on driving regional economic prosperity,” said Wilson. “Their expertise and ingenuity helped create a user-friendly tool for businesses currently operating in our region as well as those exploring the possibility of relocation.”

The Chamber notes there is still work to be done, with additional content to be added and continued user testing to take place in the coming weeks.
