Karns High School Business Mathematics Field Day

Local Business Volunteers Needed
Friday May 20th @ 8:45-11:45AM

Karns High School is searching for local businesses and organizations to volunteer their time, expertise, and resources to create fun mathematical experiences for students based on real-life business services, including labor costs, sales tax, fees, etc. 

Prizes are welcome for the kids through gift cards or gift baskets. This event will take place at Karns High School Friday, May 20th @ 8:45 AM-11:45 AM.

Knoxville Education Foundation has granted Karns High School a $3,500 grant to run a math field day full of enrichment activities to promote mathematical reasoning, teamwork, and a balanced mathematics curriculum through challenges.

Knoxville Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that promotes high-quality education in Knox County Public Schools. 

The Foundation helps close critical funding gaps by serving as a conduit between students, schools, and the greater Knox County community.
