Investing in Tomorrow: Endeavor Summit Helps Young Professionals Thrive
Knoxville Chamber to host tenth anniversary of Endeavor Summit on October 2nd
The Endeavor Young Professional Summit, Knoxville’s premier event designed to inspire and equip the region’s emerging leaders, is returning for its tenth anniversary. Taking place October 2 at Bridgewater Place, this all-day summit brings together hundreds of young professionals for an energizing mix of professional development and community connection.
Hosted annually by the Knoxville Chamber and presenting sponsor Bank of America, Endeavor is built to empower young professionals to grow personally, advance professionally, and engage locally. This talent retention program gives young professionals the opportunity to connect with peers and mentors across industries who share a commitment to shaping Knoxville’s future.
In honor of the anniversary, attendees will note a refresh of Endeavor’s branding and format. This year’s program will feature two keynote speakers. The Sycamore Institute, a nonpartisan public policy research center, will speak about access to housing and its role in community growth. The afternoon keynote will be headlined by Tearsa Smith, WATE anchor. Tearsa will share her story on building a career in Knoxville and the importance of public service.
Breakout sessions will focus on professional development including the power of civic engagement, building future-ready skills, the role mentorship can play in the life of a young person, and building belonging in Knoxville.
During each session break, Lifetime Products will give away door prizes, including pickleball sets and coolers, to encourage young professionals to explore Knoxville’s outdoor amenities. The day’s events end with a giveaway where two local nonprofits – Magnolia Harbor Carefarm and Joy of Music – will receive a portion of ticket sales.
Session details along with a full list of speakers are available at EndeavorSummit.com.
2025 Endeavor Summit sponsors include Bank of America, the University of Tennessee, Lifetime Products, 21st Mortgage, Pilot Company, UT Medical Center, Axle Logistics, and Food City.
“Bank of America is committed to the enrichment of young professionals as they play a critical role in advancing our community,” said Lina Evans, Market Executive for Bank of America Knoxville. “We are proud to support the Endeavor Summit as it equips these local changemakers with the skills they need to position themselves as leaders and serve the communities they live, work, and play in.”
“Retaining young professionals is one of the most critical drivers of economic success for our community. When emerging leaders choose to plant their roots here, they not only fill the immediate needs of our workforce but also create long-term value,” said Mike Odom, President and CEO, Knoxville Chamber. “By providing opportunities for young professionals to grow their careers, build meaningful connections, and see a future for themselves in Knoxville, we are building an economy that is more resilient, competitive, and prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.”
