Hampton Inn Downtown New General Manager

The Downtown Hampton Inn and Suites welcomes new General Manager, Avery Hicks. Avery brings with her a background in Hotel Sales and Operations in both the Downtown and West Knoxville markets. She began her customer service career at Chick-Fil-A as a teenager and cultivated her capabilities through their customer-oriented training program. Most recently, she served as the Assistant General Manager at the Hampton Inn and Suites Knoxville-Papermill Throughout her work in the hospitality industry, Avery has developed her skills in management and working with the public to ensure a quality experience for each guest. Avery prides herself on Servant Leadership team member development. She grew up in Knoxville, and currently resides here with her wife, Ewa, and dog, Scout. Avery is excited to be immersed in the Downtown scene and can’t wait to see where 2021 takes our Scruffy City.
