East Tennessee Behavioral Health is Knoxville’s newest, comprehensive treatment center for adults, adolescents, and senior adults who are living with mental health concerns and co-occurring disorders, which includes psychiatric diagnoses and substance use disorders. We’re here to help patients focus on their mental health and make the changes necessary to live more satisfying and fulfilling lives. Our setting plays a big part in that — both in terms of our state-of-the-art facility inside and our recreation area outside. We are committed to provide personalized, comprehensive care that can improve the quality of life of our patients and their families. We know how monumental the decision to seek treatment for mental health or substance use disorder can be and we do everything possible to make the admissions process a stress-free experience. That starts with making an assessment for admission available and free of charge. Potential patients can call to schedule an appointment for an assessment, walk in, or simply get in touch with a member of our admission’s staff to inquire about treatment. An assessment helps us determine which level of care is right for each person and prepare a personalized plan of care.
