Upon course completion, students will:
• Know how to properly select, cut and deburr tubing
• Correctly assemble a Swagelok® tube fitting
• Gauge a tube fitting assembly
• Understand the differences in tube fitting designs, components, and the importance of proper assembly
• Identify thread types and installation practices
• Properly prepare threaded installations
• Properly cut and deburr tubing
• Explain the purpose of various marks used in tube bending
• Bend tubing with the correct bend angle made in the correct location
• Identify potential bend defects
• Properly assemble a box comprised of various lengths of tubing, bent according to need
