As Knoxville grows, so does its story: West Knoxville Lifestyle becomes Knoxville City Lifestyle
West Knoxville Lifestyle Magazine is officially becoming Knoxville City Lifestyle, marking a natural evolution for the publication as Knoxville continues to grow, diversify and connect across neighborhoods.
The name change reflects an expanded reach as Knoxville City Lifestyle remains rooted in the same community-first mission, editorial integrity and local relationships that have defined the publication since its founding. Distribution has expanded to include 12,000 homes and businesses, broadening the magazine’s reach and increasing visibility for local stories while amplifying the voices that define Knoxville.
“What we do has always been so much bigger than West Knoxville,” said Publisher Marc Rochelson. “We’ve sought to tell the stories that represent the diverse voices and experiences across Knoxville, from its vibrant communities to its bustling businesses. As the city expands, Knoxville City Lifestyle is proud to expand with it.”
Evolving under new ownership in 2020, the publication has become a trusted platform for celebrating Knoxville’s people, businesses, nonprofits and culture. Led by Publisher Marc Rochelson and Managing Editor Amy Campbell, the magazine has focused on amplifying the city’s stories with deep, thoughtful storytelling that elevates the goodness of the community.
“As Knoxville grows, so does the responsibility to tell its stories well,” said Campbell. “This publication has always been about people and connection. We are the same team with the same core purpose: a commitment to supporting local business, a passion for deep dive storytelling and a commitment to spotlighting the vital work of local nonprofits.”
Past features have included influential organizations and individuals like the Knoxville History Project, PYA Waltman Capital, LeeAnn Morgan, the Dogwood Arts Festival and many more, highlighting the diverse and impactful contributions that shape the city’s identity.
The February issue marks the official launch of Knoxville City Lifestyle and serves as a milestone moment for the publication. Readers can expect the same trusted voice and commitment to community, now with expanded coverage that reflects the momentum of the city itself.
“I think of our magazine as more than a platform, actually more of a home for sharing the everyday goodness of our community–people, some high profile, some working behind the scenes, using their God-given talents to make our community shine,” said Campbell.
An evening celebrating Knoxville City Lifestyle’s next chapter will take place Thursday, Feb. 26, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Emporium Center. The event will feature performances by Brent Thompson and special guests, along with a silent auction benefiting the Knoxville Children’s Theatre to support its incredible work in fostering creativity and opportunity for youth in the community.
Knoxville City Lifestyle will continue to be distributed throughout affluent households and businesses while strengthening partnerships across neighborhoods, industries and creative communities. This expanded reach increases visibility for local stories and opens the door for businesses to connect more meaningfully with the audiences shaping Knoxville.
Knoxville City Lifestyle is a monthly print and digital publication focused on community-driven storytelling, local business and nonprofit engagement across Knoxville. For more information, to explore the February issue, or to connect with the team, visit citylifestyle.com/knoxville.
