PYA Announces New Equity Principals and Other Promotions

PYA is pleased to announce the promotion of Zachary DoolinJason Hardin, and Matthew Warren to the role of Equity Principal, along with several other promotions effective Jan. 1, 2024.

We’re thrilled they have joined the firm’s owners to continue to benefit our clients and communities and help lead us into our exciting future.”

Doolin joined PYA in 2010 and most recently served as Consulting/Valuation Senior Manager in PYA’s Valuation Services group. He is an experienced thought leader, speaker, and client advocate on fair market value, telemedicine, commercial reasonableness, and provider compensation and compliance. He is an expert in developing financial and economic alignment models to help healthcare clients achieve compliant physician compensation structures and advises physician practices and healthcare systems on key strategic, financial, and operational issues.

Doolin earned a Master of Accounting degree and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is credentialed as a Certified Valuation Analyst by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA).

Hardin serves as Director of PYA’s Business Intelligence & Analytics service line and has been with the firm since 2010. A certified public accountant, Hardin leverages his strong foundation in accounting and finance to translate data into custom business intelligence solutions for clients. A knowledgeable thought leader in healthcare price transparency and related regulations, Hardin has extensive experience in healthcare claims analytics, financial modeling and analysis, and dashboard development.

Hardin holds a Master of Accountancy degree and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, he serves on the board of directors for the YMCA of East Tennessee.

Warren joined PYA in 2016 and most recently served as Senior Manager supporting PYA’s Business Valuation Services group. With more than 13 years of industry experience, he provides business valuation and related transaction advisory services for businesses in many industries including healthcare, real estate, technology, and professional services. He also provides litigation support services across a variety of industries and has significant experience evaluating compensation and service arrangements between health facilities and physicians. Warren is a thought leader and frequent speaker on topics such as business valuation, mergers and acquisitions, and physician compensation.

A certified public accountant licensed in Tennessee and Georgia and credentialed as a Certified Valuation Analyst by NACVA, Warren earned a Master of Accountancy degree and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He holds leadership roles in the Tennessee Society of CPAs, including its Healthcare Conference and Forensic and Valuation Services Conference task forces. He also serves as a member of the Audit Committee for Knox County, Tennessee.
