Investor Experience Manager

Summary:
The purpose of the position is to perform functions related to marketing and communications for the Knoxville Chamber. That work falls into, but is not limited to, the following categories:
- Graphic Design – The primary function of this position is to create graphics for the Chamber’s various platforms and initiatives. This includes designing for digital, social, print, signage, brand development, and more. A portfolio of graphic design work is required for this application and can be uploaded/linked to below.
- Social Media – This person will work closely with the Director of Investor Experience to create graphics, write copy, and schedule posts to social media channels.
- Website Content – This person will assist in publishing content on the three websites that the Chamber manages.
- Photography – This person will attend all Chamber programs and external events for the purposes of capturing photography; requires a flexible schedule 1-2 times per month when events happen early in the morning or later in the afternoon.
Required Technical Skills:
- Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator (Premier Pro a plus)
- Experience on a variety of social media platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube
- Experience publishing content in website content management system (WordPress preferred)
- Experience with an email marketing platform (MailChimp preferred)
- Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Basic level of photography experience
Additional Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or other related degree is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal skills; ability to produce copy free of spelling and grammatical errors.
- Ability to work creatively and independently, ever mindful of the impact their work has on the image of the Chamber.
- Professional manner online, on the phone, and in person.
