The Tennessee Department of Health has released version 3.0 of the Tennessee Covid-19 Vaccination Plan. Previous versions of the document have laid out early vaccination plans which have largely included healthcare and emergency services workers.

Today’s version is partly based on the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommendations from December 20 and sheds new specifics on who will be eligible for future vaccinations. Many Tennessee counties are in phase 1a2 and are moving swiftly. Today’s Plan gives an outlay of what phase 2a will look like and defines each category. According to the Plan, Phase 2a will include social services, commercial agriculture, commercial food production, corrections staff, and public transit. Phase 2b is slated to include transportation and postal workers, public infrastructure, telecommunications, and utility/energy. Grocery and some retail workers are listed as being eligible in Phase 3.
