Account Executive

The mission of the Account Executive (AKA Investor Consultant) is to sell investments and services of the Knoxville Chamber to existing businesses in the Knoxville area

Department: Investor Development

Reports to: Director of Investor Development

Job type: Full-time | Regular | 37.5+ hrs/wk | Exempt

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Identify client needs by gaining a deep understanding of their objectives
  • Offer solutions that help clients achieve their business goals
  • Meet or exceed investment targets
  • Prospect and seek new clientele by canvassing, referrals, or other means to build and maintain a client pipeline
Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:
  • Experience developing new business relationships in an outside sales role
  • Knowledge of Knoxville and the local market
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in social networking platforms
  • Proficient use of CRM platforms
  • High energy and passion for the Chamber mission
  • Reliable transportation required
