Reports to: Director of Investor Development
Job type: Full-time | Regular | 37.5+ hrs/wk | Exempt
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Identify client needs by gaining a deep understanding of their objectives
- Offer solutions that help clients achieve their business goals
- Meet or exceed investment targets
- Prospect and seek new clientele by canvassing, referrals, or other means to build and maintain a client pipeline
Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Experience developing new business relationships in an outside sales role
- Knowledge of Knoxville and the local market
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in social networking platforms
- Proficient use of CRM platforms
- High energy and passion for the Chamber mission
- Reliable transportation required
