Know My Knoxville
Favorite Knoxville pastime/location? Love going to Pete’s in Downtown Knoxville for breakfast and then to Market Square on a Saturday morning with my husband, David.
Favorite thing about Knoxville? There are too many to choose just one, so here’s just a few… Any sporting event at The University of Tennessee, the greenways, lakes, mountains, wilderness within the city limits, having the best public square in the South, Farmer’s Market, Trolleys, and I could go on and on. LOVE it here!
What part of town do you live in? Downtown Knoxville along the Tennessee River
Why did you choose that part of town? What makes it special? Have always wanted to live in the heart of the city. It’s within walking distance to sporting events, shopping, movies, restaurants, concerts, etc. It’s pretty great that I can actually walk to work!
How long have you lived in Knoxville? Where else have you lived? Most of my life. Bristol, Tennessee
Favorite book… Any John Grisham book (particularly The Firm)
Favorite vacation… All of our family vacations at Pensacola Beach
Favorite time of day (and why)… Mornings…I love the calmness and that it brings a fresh start.
Best advice you’ve ever been given… If you love what you do, you never have to work.
How do you spend your free time….I enjoy spending time with my family and dog (Sophie Metz). Additionally, I enjoy group fitness classes and running.
