Working under the same roof in the heart of downtown Knoxville, the Knoxville Chamber is the lead organization in the Knoxville Chamber Partnership. The Partnership consists of local, state, and federal entities dedicated to helping new and existing businesses thrive in East Tennessee.

OUR PARTNERS INCLUDE:

Central Business Improvement District 
Thousands of businesses and East Tennesseans make their homes in the 21st century towers and historic century-old buildings of downtown Knoxville. The Central Business Improvement District’s (CBID) core mission is to enhance the existing assets of downtown while bringing more people to the area to work, shop, and play. Since its birth, the CBID has played a key role in creating a vibrant Downtown Knoxville by increasing goodwill and allocating financial grants for improvements throughout the district. Leadership Knoxville 
Leadership Knoxville takes developing leaders in the region and helps hone their leadership skills to make their organization and the community a better place to live. With an annual class of about 45 members, the program tackles real community challenges while inspiring classes with the latest leadership skills and processes. To date, more than 1,000 community leaders can boast their year-long involvement with Leadership Knoxville as a part of shaping them into the leader they are today. These alumni range from the current Tennessee Governor to the CEO's of some of East Tennessee's largest companies. Also, if you are new to the community, Leadership Knoxville offers a sister class, "Introduction Knoxville". This course is a six week workshop detailing East Tennessee's history, current events, and key players. Contact: Tammy White 865-523-9137
 


 

The Development Corporation of Knox County 
The Development Corporation promotes long-term, quality growth of Knox County’s business environment. Working with locally elected officials, TDC uses tax incentives to promote responsible industrial development and job creation that may not otherwise happen. The Development Corporation also oversees Fairview Technology Center, Knox County’s business incubator. Contact: Todd Napier 865-546-5887


 

Tennessee Small Business Development Center
Small business plays a leading role in the state’s economy. The Tennessee Small Business Development Center provides expert support to start-ups and small businesses looking to grow. Funded in part by the United States Small Business Administration and Pellissippi State, Knoxville’s TSBDC hosts training events and helps more than 700 clients annually. U.S. Department of Commerce Export Assistance Center
The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Export Assistance Center gives guidance to East Tennessee businesses looking to reach international markets. The Export Assistance Center offers East Tennessee businesses international market research, assistance in locating international suppliers and distributors, and assistance in marketing East Tennessee products worldwide. The Export Assistance Center also aids East Tennessee businesses every step of the way through the export process as they work to sell East Tennessee produced goods all over the planet.
