Ramsey Brings Red Tape Tour to Knoxville
Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey is on a mission to identify and eliminate red tape that Tennessee businesses deal with every day. From permitting delays to inconsistent enforcement, Ramsey is soliciting stories from Tennesseans and will turn those problems into legislative solutions. Ramsey and his staff are already drafting legislation to address workers' compensation and unemployment issues. He spoke to a group of nearly 100 businesspeople in Knoxville on Nov. 21 about the effort and heard several stories about their problems.
