Mentor/Protégé Program Launching January 2010
The Knoxville Chamber is launching a Mentor/Protégé program in January 2010.
As we all know, mentorship is essential to small business owners and because of this, the Chamber is starting this program. To be included in the Knoxville Chamber's Mentor/Protégé Class of 2010 please read the attached Frequently Asked Questions document and complete the application.
Here are some highlights of the Mentor/Protégé program:
Protégés must have been in business for 3 years and/or show 10 year expertise in their field. Protégés must agree to Chamber membership for 3 years. Protégés will be judged on their ability to articulate a clear, measurable, and specific goals that requires a mentor. The goal should be able to be completed in one year. You must have a sincere passion to grow your business and be willing to take instruction from others. You must be willing to meet with a mentor face-to-face at least once a month. The deadline for turning in the applications is Tuesday, December 15th. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Doug Minter. We only have 15 slots available!!!
