Colby McLemore of Colby’s Photography was recognized for superior image making and photographic service with the degree from the Professional Photographer of America.

Colby McLemore of Colby’s Photography in Knoxville, TN has earned the Master of Photography degree from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). The degree was presented to McLemore by PPA President Lori Craft, Cr.Photog, at the association’s annual convention, Imaging USA, held January 8-10, 2017 in San Antoni, Texas.

The Master of Photography degree means that McLemore has consistently met the standards of excellence set by PPA. He has been awarded this degree in recognition of his consistent superior photographic competence demonstrated through photographic competition, advanced education, and service to the profession. He reflects “I’ve always looked up to Master Photographers and thought that the degree was beyond my abilities.” “Through a lot of hard work and help from a lot of mentors and friends, I was able to learn more and create images that some of the best photographers in the industry thought exceptional.” His hard work paid off by earning the degree in what is considered very fast.

“I’m prouder of this degree than any other of the other letters behind my name.” He also holds a Photographic Craftsman degree for service to the photographic profession as an orator, author, and mentor. He holds two Tennessee Professional Photographers Association degrees--the Service and Certified Photographer degrees. Finally, he holds an Adobe Certified Expert degree from the makers of Photoshop.
