Know My Knoxville
Favorite Knoxville location? I absolutely adore the Historic Tennessee Theatre and think it’s the most beautiful building in Knoxville. I’m a huge fan of the performing arts, and it’s the perfect place to see a concert, movie, or Broadway show.
Favorite thing about Knoxville? I really love the performing/fine arts scene, as well as all the amazing restaurants! No matter what you’re in the mood for, there is always something good to eat.
What part of town do you live in? Fountain City
Why did you choose that part of town? I love the older, cottage-style homes and the community.
What makes it special? I think the area is really up-and-coming and believe it will be a hot spot in Knoxville in the next few years.
How long have you lived in Knoxville? I moved to Knoxville in 2012 to attend the University of Tennessee.
Where else have you lived? Before college I lived just outside of Nashville in Old Hickory; however, I lived in Ohio until I was 12. I’m still a Midwesterner at heart.
Favorite super hero… Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.)
Favorite actor/actress…. Leonardo DiCaprio/Jennifer Lawrence
Favorite TV show…. Game of Thrones, The Office, and Friends
Best advice you’ve ever been given… “Sometimes life is like the chicken pox. It’ll get worse before it gets better, but it WILL get better."
Four people (dead or alive) you would love to have dinner with… Alexander Hamilton, William Shakespeare, Audrey Hepburn, and Anne Frank
