The Knoxville Area Urban League is holding a six-week Budget and Credit Workshop on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 7 p.m., March 16-April 20. The workshop helps participants understand their spending habits and make wise spending choices so that they can save money and meet long-term goals, such as purchasing a home. The Knoxville Area Urban League is hosting a three-session Homeownership Workshop geared toward low to moderate income level families on March 16, 18 and 20. The workshop covers the details involved in selecting, purchasing, financing and maintaining a home.
