Green Business Recognition Program The Knoxville Chamber has created a program to recognize businesses that are taking steps to recycle and conserve. Green business practices are good business practices - they save money and resources and help the bottom line. Please apply for recognition by completing the online application.
Eligible companies will receive recognition in several ways. These include listing in an article about the program in the Chamber's monthly newsletter, Commerce, which is published in the Greater Knoxville Business Journal and distributed to more than 13,500 readers; on the Knoxville Chamber's website; at future green-focused Chamber events; and with a Knoxville Chamber Green Business window cling for your business.
Becoming a green business requires developing an attitude of sustainability and implementing conservation practices into everyday business operations. But it's not hard. If your company would like to begin a green business program please read the "Tip Sheet" for ways to get started.

GoGreenEt.com is a free, online resource created to guide East Tennessee businesses and other organizations towards being more environmentally responsible. The site provides basic information about products and services that can help your business met its goals to go green. Our goal is improvement, not perfection, so remember - every step your business can take to be more green is a step in the right direction. GoGreenET.com also encourages your business to look for ways to go green that go beyond the basic first steps presented on the GoGreenET.com website.
